For documents that need to be distributed across multiple projects, the best place to upload and access them may be the property library.
This is useful for things like style guides, fit out guides, property-wide floor plans and other property-wide documents that need to be distributed to multiple projects, without having to go into each project and upload them individually.
1. Adding documents to the Property Library
Property Administrators can upload documents to the property library by navigating to the Properties List and clicking through to the individual Property Page. From there, navigate to the ‘documents’ tab and click the blue ‘upload document’ button. This will upload the document to this library, and make it accessible to any projects that have been started on that property.
2. Accessing Property-level documents in the Project Library
Project team members can access property-level documents from within their projects by navigating to the Projects List and clicking through to the individual Project Page. From there, navigate to the ‘documents’ tab and find the property folder at the bottom of the folder list on the left.
Project team members can also access documents via the property library, as per the screenshot under #1 above, but team members won’t be able to upload documents to the property library unless they have property administrator access, which must be granted by a TCP agent.
