Authorities

There are four distinct ‘authorities’ and any given user may have multiple authorities over time. For example, a user might be invited to a project as a Project Party by a Project Owner, and then later on given the authority of Project Administrator.

Property Administrator

  • Authorised by TCP
  • Can upload documents to the Property Library on the Property Page, which are made available to all projects on that property

Project Creator

  • Authorised by TCP
  • Can create templates and projects
  • Full ‘project administrator’ authorities (see below)
  • Project Creator is a Team member on all projects they have created
  • Can access documents that have been made publicly available to property

Project Administrator

  • Authorised with Project Administrator Authority as a ‘promotion’ from Project Party Authority
  • Authorised by Project Creator or another Project Administrator
  • Can be demoted to Project Party by Project Owner or another Project Administrator
  • Can add team members to a project
  • Can access all tasks and documents within a project
  • Can access documents that have been made publicly available to property
  • Can delete and archive projects

Project Party

  • Team Member added by Project Creator
  • Default Authority for team members added to projects
  • Can be promoted to Project Administrator by Project Owner or another Project Administrator
  • Has permission to view and take action on tasks that are assigned to their role
  • Has permission to view and take action on documents that they have uploaded
  • Has permission to access documents that have been made publicly available to property
