Starting projects from a template is great when you’re confident the pre-designed task durations and due dates are likely to be met.
In the real world, sometimes this is not possible. We have therefore created a new Scheduling step in the project create process. This will enable you to make adjustments to the working days and/or due dates and see the flow on effects to any child tasks.
You can also ‘Fix‘ a task so that the nominated due date is not changed should its parent task be adjusted. This is particularly helpful for the all important Handover Date task.
